Features
Every feature exists to save you re-keying without lowering the standard of evidence behind your BER.
Completed DEAP Survey Form
- Fills the SEAI DEAP Survey Form v5.02 (.xlsx), using your own template if you upload one
- Adds Opening Data rows safely. Merged cells and template labels are checked automatically after every edit
- Every area is a live formula, never a typed number
- Values you’ve already entered are preserved, and any conflict gets a dated comment
Evidence in cell comments
- Records the source of every populated field in a cell comment, with its location in the file and a confidence note
- Area Reconciliation: floor totals against room sums, upper floors against lower floors, and perimeter checks
- Unresolved Items and Fields Not Populated, each with the specific gap in the evidence, so you know exactly what to check
Nett wall area calculations
- Gross length × height, minus doors and windows, for each wall type and age band on each floor
- Rooms in the roof split into kneewall and gable components, including triangular gables up to the ridge
- Partial party walls split into exposed and excluded segments, with the working shown
- The arithmetic is written out beside every result: “Gross: 15.70m × 2.40m = 37.68m², Nett: …”
Openings and orientation
- One row for every heat-loss opening, including doors to unheated porches
- Doors marked “>60%” glazed are treated as windows, as DEAP requires
- The north arrow is read on every floor’s sketch, with no assumption that floors share an orientation
- Rooflights are kept out of wall deductions
Assisted DEAP4 entry
- You log in to DEAP4, and PolarBER enters the data in the correct tab order
- Every saved row is checked, and tab totals are checked against the survey form
- Party walls are handled the way DEAP4 expects, by reducing wall area
- Publishing is blocked in the platform, and you can take control back at any time
- A Portal Entry Report is produced for your review
Security and data protection
- Hosted in the EU, with files encrypted at rest and in transit
- A Data Processing Agreement with every account: you are the controller and we are the processor
- Your DEAP4 password is never seen, recorded or stored
- Automatic deletion of job files after [RETENTION PERIOD]
